About Us

Smart College was founded in December 2016 by education specialist Ismail Alas to address the urgent need for quality education in a nation rebuilding from conflict. Initially focused on secondary science & mathematics and Languages, the college established a strong foundation for young learners. Over the years, Smart College has expanded its offerings to include a diverse range of courses for students from elementary to university levels, empowering over 25,000 students. This includes providing tuition-free education to more than 300 low-income learners and orphans. Embracing the digital age, Smart College operates an online platform (smartcollege.so) with over 5,000 enrolled students and reaches nearly 39,000 learners through its Facebook and Instagram review videos.

Today, Smart College specializes in leadership, secondary education, and managerial training within the business environment. It offers comprehensive workplace trainings, soft skills programs, advanced academic courses, and full learnerships designed to equip students with the tools for academic excellence and professional success. Committed to fostering educational growth and leadership, Smart College remains a cornerstone of the nation’s educational landscape.
